The Dirty Dash

This weekend some incredibly awesome girls and I participated in the Dirty Dash as a team. Chris and I have been running consistently for a long time now and I must say, all of that running did nothing to prepare me for this race. My teammates and I arrived at Soldier's Hollow on Saturday morning and signed in for our race. We started looking around and all of us were thinking the same thing. "What were we thinking?!" Actually, it turned out to be a lot of fun. The Dirty Dash is a 10K race through mud pits, over walls and down giant inflatable slip and slides. We laughed as we slipped to our knees and crawled around in the smelliest, dirtiest race of our lives. As you can see in the pictures, we're covered in mud, but still laughing.
